"As High Steward of Colchester, people often tell me of life in Colchester years ago - the Second World War, hard times in the 40s and early 50s, getting a new council house - the list is endless. These stories could be lost.
Fortunately Colchester Recalled is steadily recording these memories for future generations and I am proud to be their President. If you have an elderly relative or neighbour who you think we should record, please let us know."
